This lure imitates a small eel – the preferred prey of many saltwater and freshwater predators. The mouths of rivers and brackish environments are definitely the best spots to use this lure however, it’s lifelike action is successful in other environments as well. It does not need to be retrieved particularly fast to achieve an attractive action but long slow sweeps will enhance it’s sinuous swimming action. It is excellent when used in shallow water. Ideal targets are Mangrove snapper and Barramundi but it is also superb for Grouper and Barracuda. It produces excellent results in freshwater for predators like Snake head, Mully and the ocassional aggressive catfish.
